Pilonidal Sinus Openings - Severe (9 of 10)
It is common to have in the midline 1 to 4 pits, there are patients with more than 10 pit openings. This picture is of an extremely severe case with multiple secondary openings on the
buttocks. Abscesses have ruptured to the surface at each opening.
All may have taken origin from a single midline pit. Some secondary
openings here appear lined with skin, forming epithelial tubes that may need to be removed. |
