Hi all, I had my pilonidal cyst removed maybe 4 or 5 years ago and it left a small hole where I have had drainage on and off for the last several years Today it is itchy and draining gross smelling stuff again and I am working during the doctors hours and going out of town Saturday. I am tempted to go to the Immediate care Center near me to just get the antibiotics as usual but I am worried it isn't that big of a deal. Anyone out there any opinions I feel like I never know when I should go or not. This is just annoying.
i advice you..if the drainage your having is not more than twice a year to stay with it and try to clean the area and use antibiotics..but if the number increased its better to sort it out by a good colorectal surgeon whos doing open excision
