hey everyone I finally had my surgery on tuesday,after waiting since feb im so happy it finally happened. My surgery was at 3pm the surgeon still wasnt sure what procedure he was performing as ive had my pilo for around 8years he thought il probly have open wound. I was taken up to surgery I was so nurvous but they were all so nice they put at ease, I woke up at 430pm with the nurse in recovery the first thing I noticed was pain in my back they said the surgeon was very happy as it wasnt as bad as he thought so I ended up having a closed tention excision. Im a little worried as ive only read a couple of success stories on this type of surgery but the surgeon assures me because it wasnt bad ive got a good chance. I spent one night im now at my parents resting and I do stress keep up with the pain meds because there is some pain. And doc said rest rest rest gives good chance of good healing. I have my first doc appoitment next wensday to get first stitches out ill keep you all updated.THANKYOU so much this site has helped alot please feel free to ask anything xx
