Has anyone had surgery in the north east, if so what were your experiences?
I had an incision and drainage done in September, all went well. Healed up, had a follow up last week and had begun to feel the dreaded twinges, surgeon said there was no sign of infection.
Today, the bump is definitely swollen, pain when pressure placed on it, will need to see Gp tomorrow.
So fed up, only just got back to work and it plays havoc with my anxiety.
Any advice welcome, really dont think I could emotionally cope with open excision.
    Xxx

    Hi,
I'm from County Durham and got the operation done at Darlington Memorial Hospital by a surgeon who had no clue what he was doing in my opinion, the surgery was a nightmare and the aftercare was just as bad from my GP surgery. Hope you have better luck than I did.
