Okay... I'm trying not to panic... But the past few days I have noticed a small pimple at the very top of my flat cleft slightly to the right. Now its not a abbcess and I cannot see any sinus and it may just be a random pimple, it is a bit tender and I cannot feel anything underneath the pimple. And this morning I just couldn't resisit(it had a white head) I popped it and I got a tiny bit of pus out of it... It is still I bit tender. I'm so damn worried I can't even rememeber what I normal pimple looks and feels like! I hope this isn't the start of something sinister... Any advice will be appritated as I can't even see my doc, bcoz its the weekend...
I'm not sure popping it was the best idea but I would say that since no liquid came out until YOU popped it, you should be fine. Zits do have pus.. but I'd be more worried if it had burst on its own and drained a clear liquid, for that would be a sign of something pilonidal. Perhaps Jaredsmom will come on to answer your question, but I do know that Jared had a pimple near the area once he was healed as well, and they also got very scared, but they put zit cream on it and it went away.. no problems since then.. Just try not to panic about it while you can't see your doctor, but definitely keep an eye on it. Also maybe get some zit cream and put that on there.
I really hope it is a zit... Is much better today (because I popped it I think) I'm trying hard to distract myself because I find I keep looking and poking at it... Arghh!!
