Mikayla’s story

September 25, 2018

I had pilonidal surgery in March of 2017 and as of now, September 2018 this is day 5 of my scar tissue progressively filling up. Almost every night I’ve had a fever, soaked in epsom salt, took anti inflammatory meds and I’m still in excruciating pain… my hips hurt from not being able to lay normal…. I can barely sit to use the restroom… oh you should see how I have to get in/ get out/ drive my car… (lmao) I really need to get it lanced but I have an appointment with my previous surgeon in two days to look at it. Seriously the worst pain ever…. 🙁 last week when I noticed the slightest bit of pain around my scar, I checked it out. Well, turns out I either ripped a hole or it opened itself. That’s how this first started. I’ll have to update you after my appointment or until surgery…
