Dull aching pain. Need advice!

hello,
First off I'll give a little background info:-

In the past 3 years Ive had 5 operations to remove pilonidal cysts which have turned into sinuses, as well as having numerous flare ups in between, controlled by antibiotics. These don't seem to work anymore as Ive had them on and off for 3 years now.

My question is, does anyone else constantly have a dull aching pain in area surrounding the scars? i am forever having to change positions when I'm sitting down, and can barely move in the morning if Ive ended up sleeping on my back. The area around my scar is always swollen too, which has been that since my first operation, but seems to have gotten worse over time. I cant even sit on the toilet for too long as I feel like my scar is going to open.

This is a really struggle for me as everytime i make progress I seem to take 10 steps backwards.

Any advice on how to deal with this, or if this is something I should look into further with a doctor, please let me know. Ive had just about enough now.

Thanks

Hello, I know the last thing you want to hear now is to have another surgery. But can I ask what type of surgeries you had? Were they all open excisions? I believe that with the cleft lift/modified karydakis surgeries they shallow the cleft so a sinus can't form. I just had the modified karydakis procedure 12 days ago after a failed open excision surgery earlier this year and so far so good. i had a cyst and 3 sinuses they removed all of that and stitched everything off the midline so the top of my cleft is shallow. I'm still healing but so far so good. Maybe something to consider? You don't have to suffer with this for the rest of your life. You just need to find a good surgeon who knows this surgery and is confident enough that it will heal you.
