Post Epsit procedure

Hi all I had an epsit procedure last month in Colchester, followed surgeons advice took 2 weeks off all appeared to be healing tiny bit of puss leaking but nothing serious however for past 5 days it’s been leaking blood again, the top hole which was operated a little sore when wiping it but nothing major just wondering wherever it’s normal? And in terms of laser hair removal I’ve tried to call a couple clinics up and are all saying they can’t do it until it’s all healed?
Any advice I would be grateful for
Thanks

Hi, may I ask how your recovery has been? I’ve had the exact same procedure done only recently.

Hi, I can't comment on the long-term results as it's only been a few weeks. However, the procedure itself was a breeze and really very minimal pain. Aftercare was easy too. Even though my pilonidal sinus wasn't that bad, I still decided to have it treated and compared to the alternative treatments I'm glad I chose this one. Feel free to message me if you need any more advice!

Thank you for your response. My son has had three operations. All unsuccessful over three years. He’s still got a hole that can bleed and leak. The operations left him with huge cuts and healing times have been long and painful. I wish we had heard of this procedure earlier. The poor boy has had his lower back covered with dressings for three years now. How is your wound? Does it need much dressing?

I'd revisit the surgeon. One of my holes started to bleed a tad turned out I had just moved in a way that tore it a bit. Had some silver nitrate on it to help it heal and was fine again a week later. Also are you packing it still? Maybe a reaction to something?
