So I've been struggling with a pilonidal cyst and called a GP. They asked me to send photos and so I did.
He prescribed me flucloxacillin 4x a day. I completed my antibiotic course and it's still there... I know it's supposed to ease the symptoms but I was hoping it would reduce the cyst?
The lump and the sinus (hole) are still there and I don't know what to do. I signed up for this forum as a last resort because I seriously don't know what to do as it's making me feel really insecure. I was hoping they would do a minimal surgery but they didn't. I would do it privately but the costs are extremely high (over £2000).
Should I call my GP again asking for further treatment even though I don't feel any pain or just learn how to live with it?
