Complete Healing with Homeopathy. Yes it’s possible. Dear All, I’d like to share my experience with this disease.
Start: It first happened to me in the end of 2006. I felt a tiny pimple kind of thing near end of the tail bone and placed on the left buttock. I didn’t feel any pain or any drainage and it was quite small so I didn’t pay much attention. Even after 5-6 months it was still there. I searched online and came across this website. I suspected as if I had this problem.
First Visit to Doctor: Instead of visiting a surgeon directly, I thought of visiting a dermatologist to confirm the condition. The dermatologist said it’s not pilonidal but some other condition and the doctor said a minor cut will help drain it. I went for it and the doctor said there were some hair inside that. That made me feel more strongly about having a pilonial only and doctor said they would send it for autopsy which confirmed it was more likely to have happend from pilondial only. Thereafter I visited couple of surgeons and as expected, they recommended to go for surgery. However looking at the long healing period and potential recurrence I thought of looking for some other treatment options.
Treatment with Homeopathy: It was mentioned on this site as use of homeopathy has been helpful. So, I approached some homeopathic doctors. One doctor gave me assurance that it will be 100% healed with homeopathic medicine. I started taking the medication near end of 2007. It started with Silicea 6x and then 30x. The condition started to improve and I’d like to mention all along it was painless. It carried on for more than 6 months and based upon doctor’s continued assurance and improvement in the symptoms with no visible side effects I carried on with the medicine. Then doctor asked to change the medicine and started Calcarea Sulphurica 6x, that’s when the condition started to improve very quickly.
Then after sometime doctor gave Calcarea Sulphurica 30x and then after further improvement he gave Calcarea Sulphurica 200x. After this it was completely healed. As per doctor’s advice, I continue to take medicine for 1 month after it was healed and then stopped and it was perfectly fine. I continued to keep trimming the hair in the area after 3-4 weeks to avoid it coming back again. Recurrence and again Treatment with Homeopathy: However about 2 years later, I was driving a motorbike and I felt some pain in this area. I felt as I have it was coming again. I’d like to mention that I noticed as if same causing factors were repeated. I was driving more and more and not taking proper cleanliness of the area. This had caused this to come back. Again I contacted the same doctor and he recommend to start with Calcarea Sulphurica 200x. It started getting better very quickly, after about a month when I was feeling it was all clear
I stopped taking the medicine. After about couple of weeks I felt the pain again and it reappeared. I consulted the doctor and started the same medicine and this time increased the frequency to 2 times a day and it started getting better, now It’s clear however as per doctor’s advise I have reduced the frequency to 1 time a day and this time I’ll make sure to finish the cource of taking it for one month even after it’s clear and try to keep the area clean and no / minimal drive by motorbike.
Recommendation: Friends, as you have seen I have gone through this two times and I know how it is but I’d like to thank GOD and thank the homeopathic doctor and last but not the least the owner of this website who helped me guide to explore an alternative treatment and it was successful. Please note, my intent is just to confirm that HOMEOPATHIC TREAMENT FOR PILONIDAL IS POSSIBLE. I’d like to advise that anyone reading this doesn’t start taking the medicine I had mentioned, I’d recommend finding a homeopathic doctor as your sympotms and stage may be different and different medicine with different potency may be required.
I wish everyone going through this disease, courage and will to overcome this. It takes time but it’s possible to heal this with Homeopathy and that too in a pain-less manner. I’m from India but have stayed in USA and UK for long periods while I had this problem and I know it’s not easy to get homeopathic advise in this countries, but I know wonderful people living in these countries are so smart to find the right person doesn’t matter how difficult it is to do so.
