Andrea Marie’s story

April 13, 2012

So my last post was about me getting the stitches out-they were left in for 3 weeks and were starting to irritate my skin-when they got removed it hurt like a needle going in and out-but after it was done it felt way better! The packing stopped on 4/6/12-I was soooooooo happy that I didn’t have to have the draining hole packed it was getting small and hard to do so-so thats healed up now but on 4/10/12 I noticed a lil discharge from the stich area-so as I have been doing went in the bathroom sat down on the edge of the tub and use my removeable shower head to clean the area-since an oder was a lil strong-and then drying with a lint free town-next day was more drainage-so I made an appointment for the next day-so on 4/12/12 the nurse saw a lil hole where the stiches were and was able to use the q tip to go in a lil-less than half an inch-it bled and she said to try to keep it open so it heals ok-but today my b/f tried to help and the q tip wouldn’t go in-so since it was just blood it should be ok-no infection-I thought I was all healed but not just yet-hopefully next week I am-jeez recovering from this takes a lot of patience! It appears from these stories I’m one of the only people who had this from the time I was born and then outta no where it was infected-all this going on inside just is crazy-I always come to this site to read stuff-seems like some people don’t go in right away and get it removed-you should!!! Much better decision then to have flare ups and other situations that are not to fun-quicker you spot it and treat it the better-or you’ll prolly be writing a horror story about it-my thoughts are with everyone still-I will update next week!
