My 2 1/2 yr old son had a pilonidal cyst that we had to have taken care of at the ER in Houston TX. We had no idea he had it until one day he said “my butt hurt” and he could only lay on his stomach. I took him to urgent care, they took one look and said we had to take him to ER immediately as it was abscessed. Once at ER they were able to sedate him/slice the cyst open and drain it. I hope this never happens again.
