Christian’s story

November 30, 2014

Hi my name is Christian I recently had my pilonidal cyst lanced and boy was it painfull, I had it packed but I hardly noticed because my mind was so focused on the pain from the lancing.

I’m going in tomorrow to have my first repacking, my question is, is repacking really as painfull as people describe? Also, does pain medication really help before the packing. And is surgery to remove the cyst sack the only way to ensur e there will not be a recurrence. I know theses can rescuer regardless but does the surgery have the least chance of recurrence.

I’m only 17 and I’m scared the pain will be to much for me to handle. Thanks everyone.
