Corey ‘s story

January 23, 2014

I have been dealing with Pilonidal Sinus problems for a bout 9 years. I have only had a few actual Cysts and infected tissue problems, but the major problem is the healing process.

My affected area is so deep and far in the cleft that it is damn near impossible to heal, every time I have a bowel movement it re-opens or just opens more and causes it to bleed A LOT. I have had about 4 or 5 surgeries and have seen about 6 doctors maybe more.

The unfortunate part is that I believe this has all because from my very first surgery, when I was going to the doctor everyday to get the wound packed and unpacked, they finally said the wound was too small to pack it anymore and it healed, a year later my butt was bleeding and when I wet to see a doctor he found a small piece of packing the nurses had left inside the wound. And ever since then I just can’t seem to heal.
