About 4 years ago I had my first cyst removed and it was fine with the open excision method which took almost 6 months to heal(not fun). Then a few months ago I noticed that it was starting to drain a bit from that scar tissue that was in that area.
Since I found out about the cleft lift procedure from this website I went on a hunt looking for a doctor that knew what it was and how to do it. Alot of people never heard of it or just dismissed it as being something they wouldn’t do because they hadn’t been trained in it and that I shouldn’t “believe everything I read online”.
FINALLY I found a surgeon named doctor A.David.Peter who practices in Canandagua ny. He needs to be added to this site because the person who taught him the cleft lift who is Dr Brady is not retired but is still listed on this site. He is at the same location that Dr Brady was. Dr Peter and his nurse Denise are some of the nicest people you will meet and you really feel like you are in good hands when you are there.
I just had my cleft lift done yesterday August 27th and I should be getting the drained removed tomorrow. I am so glad to have found this site because otherwise I probably would have never known about the cleft lift and ended up doing another horrible open excision again. Thank you!
