diagnosed last 8/19/11, surgery on 9/1/11 told it was closed, learned soon after that it didn’t heal, left with open wound now for 9 months, nothing has worked. Tried 15 products thus far some of the products twice and together so about 25 times now. 2nd and 3rd opinion is re-excise the area leave open and attached the wound vac immediately for what is hopefully only a 6 week healing vs the long 9 months of HEdouble hockey stix!
Anyone else going through same process, any miracle dressing out there that did wounders?I’ve used Medi Honey, Promogran, fibracol plus, conatec aquacel, aquacel silver, Iodasorb paste with Nu-auze, Nu-gauze with dakins, cauter several times, a couple of debridement, hydrofera, sitz baths with epsom. Wound care is out of ideas other than sending me back to the surgeon!
