I had Pilonidal Disease for about 4 years and i didn’t find out til november 2010, I was in 2nd grade of high school. So i went to the doctor’s and she sent me to take antibiotics and to put a cream on my boil and sent me to see a surgeon..
My surgeon, inspired confidence in me to get into surgery quickly, but it wasn’t since march 2011 i came into surgery, everything went ok, i had a close wound, i’ve had the cares after surgery, the shave, baths, etc.. But (yeah, there’s gotta be a “but” somewhere) my wound started bleeding causing seromas, i had several visitis to my surgeon’s.. almost 3 times a month, he said it was because of the hair and i needed to shave that place every week, i’ve been doing it since then. I take a cushion to school, and i have all the facilities to not get my wound hurt.
Well, here i am, a year and a month later with the same problem: Bleeding. I haven’t stop bleeding since my surgery and I still bleeding even staying home, sit in soft places, doing almost nothing “so i can’t get hurt and stop bleeding”.. I don’t know what else to do, i’ve seen another doctors but they said “your wond is just fine” I even see a proctologist and he said is fine too.. If anyone had my problem and healed, please, i’d love to hear how you healed.. because i’m going into college and i don’t wanna start a new life with that problem remaining. Thanks 🙂
