Hey everyone, I’m new to this site and really glad I found it. I’m a United States Marine and I first noticed I had something wrong back at my MOS school. I’ve been in the Marines for about a year now and back at my MOS School, April 8th,
I found out I had a pilonidal cyst because it… blew up (Gross I know). Which explained why I was having lower back pain. I went to the Docs and they said ohhhh physical therapy will help that (Really?). Well after a few weeks of that my back was still hurting and the cyst was still there. They finally said ok we’ll schedule you for surgery. I was like alright finally something that will actually fix the problem.
Well the surgery was scheduled after I graduated and went to my first duty station in the fleet -_-. I told them about it and it took until July 17th for the surgery to finally happen. So I’ve had this for over 4 months now (Not really sure how long because I’ve had it before April 8th that’s just when I found out it was there).
So now my surgery is done and over with. Still waiting for the wound to heal. It’s still very uncomfortable to sit. Check up with the doctor tomorrow and hopefully hear some good news.
