Kay’s story

December 20, 2011

I thought I would update everyone on my progress. I last wrote to the forum on December 27, 2009. Wow that’s nearly 2 years ago! I am pleased to say I have not had any flare-ups since I had the “Limberg flap” surgery and my natural butt cleft/crack has started to come back so the scar is not immediately noticeable. So I still stand by this method of treatment. It is sad to hear people still try the other methods without 100% success but I guess not all doctors can perform the flap surgery. I also try to remember not to slouch on my tail bone. Who knows if this was the main cause but its something to keep in mind??

Good luck to all!
