Mick’s story

December 18, 2010

Anyone reading this that has pilonidal should have it removed surgically. I had it for over a year and always tried to think I could some how fix it myself or it would go away. It didnt. Having it removed surgically was very easy and recover was not at all difficult. I’m 23 years old. I figured out that 90% of my worry was because of the mystery. I had no idea how it was going to be or what id have to do after the surgery.

Now that I’m recovered I look back and laugh at myself for waiting over a year to deal with this. And then I realized why I also waited so long to get the surgery done was because on the internet every single damn thing I read was negative about it. So it made me afraid. Im here to tell everyone not to be afraid and to go through with the surgery. You will be so happy once everything is done.

I’m fully recovered and I can do anything I wanted to just like before. I could have easily went on with my life and never came back to say anything. But here I’am – so listen up. I know you’re tired of worrying about it all the time. trust me get the surgery done you will feel better. good luck to everyone that is going through it – i will see you guys on the other side eventually – and then you too need to write your success story and give others the confidence to take back their lives 🙂
