When I was 13, I had my first surgery for the cyst. I’d had swelling a few months earlier and my pediatrician was able to open it and drain the pus. But then only a couple months later, it happened again so I was sent to a surgeon for him to remove the cyst. They put me to sleep and after the anesthesia wore off, I didn’t experience much pain at all. Having to have the gauze pulled out was the most painful part.
I was SO happy to have it removed!! It was the most painful thing to try to sit normally.
Now 13 years later, I’ve had no problems whatsoever. Very very thankful to have it removed so earlier on in my life!
