SteveP’s story

December 5, 2010

This is in reply to lucaskeith’s story. Your story interests me because my “young” adult son is entering the military and he has what appears to be a pilonidal abcess. Hardly ever flares up, doesn’t limit his activities, just a pain in the butt every know and then. He made it through his first physical and cleared the bend-over part. He asked the doc why they do this portion of the exam and was told looking for pilondial cysts, doc told him not to worry , your all set. It wasn’t inflammed or leaking (hasn’t in awhile)
