Trey’s story

December 30, 2013

Hello, I am 17 Years old and I am having my Pilonidal cyst removed tomorrow, using the open wound procedure. I first discovered it about a year ago, I was having severe pain while sitting. After a trip to the doctor I had it lanced (which was immediate relief). I had no more problems until a couple of days ago when I had the same issues. I ended up deciding to have the surgery.

I am pretty nervous because I can not be inactive for very long. I am committed to play Division 1 football next year on scholarship, so I have been hitting the weight room extremely hard. Also, I go back to school on Thursday and can not be absent or else I will not have my senior exemptions.

Praying for the best, and I will post again sometime after my surgery! God Bless
