I am 19 and first noticed when something was wrong when I came back from playing cards with the guys and my tailbone was very tender and sore. It just kept getting worse, I went to the ER a total of three times, the first time the doctor said there was nothing, gave me some antibiotics and vicodin and sent me home.
Then not even a week later I went back, a different doctor said I had a cyst, he drained it, sent me home and that was that. A week after that, I had to go get it lanced again, this time the amount of drainage was disgustingly huge, but it stopped flaring up. I went to my surgeon and had him look at it, he told me that he would have to remove it. I went in earlier today to have my cyst removed, got there at 8, was in surgery by 9:20, and then all I remember is waking up at about 10:30.
Now I am laying on an air mattress in the living room so my parents can keep an eye on me, but I feel really good, other than the throbbing on my rear I feel great. I urge everyone to find a GOOD surgeon and have this stupid thing removed, I will update later on with how I feel.
