Anon’s story

June 13, 2012

Im a 16 year old female. My first flare up was when i was 15. The cyst was very large and painful before i finally showed it to my mother (who is a doctor) and she brought be to the er to have it drained.

About two weeks ago it can back. It wasnt as big but it was still painful. I went to the doctor and he drained it, but it didnt help. Almost a week ago is was hospitalized because the infection got into my blood stream. I vomited everything i ate or drank. I had a fever was clamy and was severly shaking. The doctors hooked me up to an iv to give me fluids pain meds antibiotics and nausea medication.

Being so young i bounced back but i was told i would need surgery to removethe cyst so that this wouldnt happen again.
