Hi,i am 22 year old female i have had a pilonidal cyst for the padt three years and although i just found out friday what it was ive had flare up off and on the past three years and they would be painful but eventualy pop i was tpp embarrased to go to the er or talk to my dr about but this last flair up was so bad i cryed when i would sit i went ot the er who did nothing but give me a antibotic and pain med and sugest i talk to a sergent nothing happened so i when to my dr who took one look told me exactly what it was and told me i needed emedate sergury the er wouldnt to it and it was going to take 72 thours for my insurance to aprove the sergury saterday night i coulndt take it any more my husband took me to the military hospital and they drained it i have and apontment to talk to a surgent on monday i am terrified the worst part tho is my dr wrote me out of work til i see the sergent the draning helped but it is still hard for me to be comfortable sitting or bending
