Hi im 24 and in the last 3 years i’ve had 5 operations to get rid of my pilonidal sinus but so far nothings worked. Been told to use creams, medications, hair removal etc on top of the surgery but no good out come. Am due to go in for my 6th operation soon but its going to be a major one involving cutting down to the bone and muscle level to clear it all out then skin graphs to replace all the previous scar tissue. Also informed i will need a colostomy bag as i will have so many stitches below that going to the toilet is out of the question. hope nobody is as bad as this or worse and good luck with your treatment!
