Denny’s story

June 19, 2013

Firstly, thanks to Ross (5/8/2013) – my husband and I were crying with laughter. My husband had surgery on the 7th of May for a supposed fissure.

Anyway, to date, he has consumed enough antibiotics and serious pain relief to open his own pharmacy. Since, he has been feverish, bent over at right angles and hardly able to work, and in great agony. Surgeon just keeps suggesting more drugs. After researching the Internet I have come to the conclusion that he must have a pilonidal thingy, (abcess ,cyst, boil, mass).

To put it bluntly I am totally pissed-off. He is scheduled to have another ‘exploratory’ surgery on the 24th – what I really want to say is ‘no f…ing chance’. The earliest appointment I could get with another surgeon was not till the 8th July! OMG, I mean apart from the agony he needs to work (after all we have to eat).

God help you if you don’t have private health cover. I am totally frustrated with the current health system, it appears its run by a bunch of dickheads. A load of morans who are quite happy to waste your tim, add to your pain and take your money. Forgive my diatribe, but seriously, I could write reams, there is no other profession (well, someone may correct me), that gets by providing a second rate services and gets paid top dollar for it!
