I just wanted to say. BOY! Isn’t the internet amazing! 1996/97, I had finally had enough of the pain and discomfort from this extra “hole” that had appeared a number of years earlier. I don’t even remember how I ended up at the doctor that performed the surgery. I do remember writhing in pain as I removed the packing myself. I had NEVER heard of anyone else having this issue. Thank you for this site and forum to help people that are currently going through this.
