My story starts in janurary 2012 when I had my first pilonidal cyst. Itwas in the midle of my butt crack.
First I went to the hospital a doctor took it out and put something in it to leave it open. I had to go to the hospital everyday to get my wound cleaned and change the thing ( i dobt know how its called) insidr mywound to leave it open. It lasted 2 months like this without healing so I finally saw a surgeon that told me it was infected. I had to get the big surgery. It was pretty scary but everything was fine. I couldnt walk for 4 months. I had a machine ( vacc) plugged to me for the drainage. With morphine all the time. I got out of this in july of 2012. It ripped a couple of times before healing completely but I got out of it!
AFTER: I was living normally until july 2014 when a cyst attacked me again. This time though it wasn’t as close to the anus and less painful I was able to walk, work etc. The doctor just took it out and put a thing to leave t open.But still I was being careful cause it still hurt. It went away one month later after the daily treatements at the hospital. 3 weeks after this 2 new cysts appeared at the same place. I saw my surgeon asap. She told me they were infected and that I needed a second big surgey and needed the vacc after. I was so sad.
Finally at the surgery my surgeon forgot the vacc so just sowed me up with stiches on october 31st 2014. Yup Ihad to wait a couple of months before getting the surgery. From the 31st it ripped 12 times maybe more I stoped counting. After it started to heal. Now on december 16 my wound started to feel more painful and seemed to stop healing.at one point I couldnt walk nor sit nor sleep anymore cause of the pain. So I went back to the hospital and they told me my wound got infected instead of healing and created a sinus going next to my anus. I had to get my intestines checked to make sure the sinus was pierced throug my anus. It doesnt seem to for now.
After the surgeon I saw put me another string thingy to keep it open and told me I had to go everyday get it cleaned at the hospital and see my surgeon to see the situation. Now this one is the painfulest one of all. I can’t poop. I try but can’t. I cant sleep nor eat. Thank God I can pee but thats all I can do. Its December 20th and in all of my life ive never felt that much miserable and sad to the point where ( when i manage to sleep out of fatigue) i just cry. I dont even move and it hurts so bad. I WONT be able to celebrate christmas thia year im stuck in bed with the nurses cleaning my woundeach day. If somebody got through this one please contact mefor encouragement cause im dying here thanks !
And for those that are new to this dont be afraid im just VERY unlucky to get this many problems my sinuses and cysts. Im not hairy so the doctors have no clue as for WHY nor do I. Cause usually for people that have this once often never gets it back !
