Jeff’s story

August 4, 2017

Hey y’all, I just got a pilonidal cystectomy on 8/1/17 and it’s now 8/4/17. I think I’ve been through the tough part of it all but it’s not that bad really. I looked all this stuff up because I was freaked out about this and I see people on here making it sound like they have a kidney stone and level of 10 pain. ITS NOT THAT BAD. If your nervous, there’s really no reason to be because the doctors will take care of you.

The only part that sucked for me when I got this surgery was the soreness of the 2nd day and trying to shit because I was so constipated. Now, I have a closed wound so I have no idea what an open wound and the packing would all be like but I’m sure it won’t be the end of the world if you are reading this. Everyone on here is just trying to scare you or they’re just being over dramatic. I’ve been to two infections and drainages and now I just had surgery…yeah it sucks…yeah it hurts sometimes…but ITS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

Good luck guys!!
