Louise’s story

May 13, 2012

I got really bad pain around sept last year, I couldn’t sit properly, or lay even standing was a bit of a mission…it felt hot and swollen so just thought I had pulled a muscle around that area from sitting down all the time at work. But after three days I started to get all shivery and I couldn’t get any sleep so my boyfriend decided to take me to A and E that morning (3am). Luckily it was a Monday morning so I was seen very quickly and had the surgery to drain it the next day. It has taken a long time to heal as I had a few infections on the way but also it still flares up every now and then (today being one of them) esp if I am sitting down for a long period of time. Don’t think it will ever be the same again but just wish it would stop flaring up.
