I first noticed my cyst last year in july when i woke up that day it was tender I went about my day but walking got painful and then came home to find I couldn’t sit or lay on it at all I ended up in the er they told me it was an abcess drained it packed it sent me home no pain meds no antibiotics…. then I felt it coming on again I had my boyfriend soak washcloths and tea bags in boiling water and just keep applying these things till we noticed a black hole starting, he then touched the area and it literally started pouring from this tiny black hole! we pushed poked and proded it gone couple weeks later it came back so big I might as well have glued a tennis ball there, when I went to get dressed after phoning my doctor i bent over to bull up my pants in what I thought I had pee’d myself it actually erupted on it’s own staining my carpet and my pants! the smell is something I could never forget either, I went to my doctor who referred me to a specialist I then saw said specialist that same day and he removed the top layer of skin to drain. He then kept checking on it letting me way my options for what I thought would be best for me, I decided surgery was best after some complcations with the healing involving silver nitrate and ripped stitches which are minor compared to my flare ups, it healed fine leaving me a small and miniscule drain hole for anything else that may come, I have had few flare ups but because of the drainage hole they are gone in a matter of days! wondering if anyone else notices these and is it normal?
