Nour’s story

April 25, 2015

Mine started when I was pregnant with my first baby, almost 2.5 years ago. I was 23 then. It hurt so much that I couldn’t sleep at night . I was also in college as a full time student, so sitting down to study was just horrible.

My Dr confirmed that it was a pilondial cyst, but I chose to wait for surgery until after I have the baby. I put the surgery off, unfortunately, and I kept having minor flare ups every 3-4 months since then. I do warm compresses and that helps a lot for a little while. Well now, Im pregnant again and the pilondial cyst is back. Reading these stories might help me make a decision whether I should get the surgery or wait it out.
