hi all, i have made my open wound surgery two years ago, after the surgery i used to go for packing almost each day because no one at home could help me with the dressing for the wound, after 6 months my wound didnt heal up, the mender was surprised because the wound took too longtime and didnt heal up, after that i quit going to him and started to do the dressing at home by myslef, this helped to close the upper side of the wound totally but the down side still didnt close up completely, this lasted for almost one year and two months or more, after that the down side of the wound started to make bad smell, so i went to Dermatologist who recommended me to use some product for dressing which can generate negative pressure to suck the pus and some antibiotics, after two weeks of the new dressing, the Dermatologist saw the wound again and he noticed the wound is much better but still there is some pus, so he said he will check if i need another surgery which i find strange because i made open wound so i get from it once and for all !
