Naethan’s story

February 14, 2015

I noticed a pain near my tailbone about a year and half ago. I now know that this was the cyst forming.

Fast forward to present day, I still have the cyst and have not gone to a doctor (although I have and still am considering it). Some of you might ask why I havn’t gone to the doctor yet… well I’ll tell you. The cyst has moved slowly from my coccyx up to the start of the butt crack. A hole formed from the sinus where the cyst drains regularly (every 1-2 days). My biggest issue is that I have almost NO PAIN. It really is just more annoying and embarrassing than anything else. I have done a lot of research and it seems to me that often times surgery just leads to more pain and increased flair ups. I’m curious as to what some of you that have had the surgery think… if you weren’t having any pain would you still get the surgery?

Thank you all for sharing!
