i am 39. 37 at the time of removal. i was first diagnosed at yhe age of 18. i ignored it and ignored it for years. i went in for surgery (major surgery) in september of 09. the doctors had cut a chunk out of me about the size of a softball. it took 6 months before i could go back to work. 4 months before i could sit down. the surgery scar is MASSIVE. if you get diagnosed early, TAKE CARE OF IT SOON!!!!!
