I am a 22 year old female who just found a name to this reoccurring problem I’ve had since I was 12 years old.
I had always thought when I had a flare up that I had done something, and just found out while scheduling my surgery for the 2nd of January 2013 that it is hereditary in my case. I had a hemroid removal surgery 6 months ago (caused by being pregnant 3 years ago) and thats when I started noticing that the bumps on my tailbone were getting bigger and ridiculously more painful. I too made my mistake of going to the erand getting it lanced,which was a horribly bad decision. I almost passed out. Mind you I have 46 piercings and 8 tattoos and had an emergency c section with no meds so I handle pain very very well.
Not even 3 weeks later it came back worse than before. I am finally going to get rid of this problem and I’m also very nervous aout this experience, I’m getting the cleft lift surgery. I will post my results after all is said and done but I’m really wishing I wouldn’t have let it get this bad….well until next post.
