I have had a tiny hole at the top of my butt crack since I was a child.. I am not sure if it has always been there or something that came. It has never bothered me till now at 40. It just started itching like crazy and just felt like a rash had started in it. Not sure if its going to become that abcess that most seem to get. It never has hurt or abcessed that I know of as of now. When it became itchy & red… I cleaned it… which I had never done and a bit akward to get & do.
I started my cycle 2 days after the itching started around this tiny hole — so I assume my hormones are playing a part in this. I also had a very bad fall this winter on my tail bone the left me in little pain since the fall and still ongoing so not sure if that fall has a part in this flare up.
