About 11 years ago, I posted a story to this website about my pilonidal experience, surgeries, and recovery. I can confirm that 11 years later I have not had a re-occurrence of the cyst – everything has healed up nicely and other than a thin scar you would never know anything had happened.
I said the same thing 11 years ago that I’ll say it right now – get the surgery! Don’t hesitate. Once you’re healed, your quality of life will improve so much it’s not funny.
