Hi I had a bascom procedure 9 days ago, where they managed to remove 3 of my 8 Pilonidal cysts and abcess’ I currently had a wound about 6 inchs long, and for the last 5 days has been pouring out a clear to pinky orange liquid, is this normal exudate or something more sinister?? I had the wound covered until yesterday with a Manuka honey dressing, but it’s currently leaking so much the dressing is constantly falling off!! I went to my GP yesterday and have been prescribed antibiotics preventatively and I’m scheduled to have the stitches out on Monday.
