RLS’s story

December 28, 2012

I’m a 33 year old woman dealing with this for three years. I’ll keep it short:
1. Removal of the packing was the WORST pain I ever felt. I asked the doctor to stop but he didn’t and I ended up passing out after leaving the doctors office.
2. My first surgery I had the open wound- while it was very gross, the pain wasn’t so bad after the 3rd day
3. My second surgery was a closed wound with stitches, staples and a drain. The pain was a lot more this time around
4. Removal of the drain, stitches, and staples was the 2nd worse pain in my life! Everyone says it doesn’t hurt- whatever
5. Take time to heal and don’t push yourself I’m glad it’s over, I hope to never have to deal with this again.

I pray for everyone with this disease and hope for fast recovery for all.
