Swiggy’s story

December 12, 2010

Hey forum. I had my first flare up in june 2010. At first i thought I had haemorrhoids but when my cysts burst i immediately went to the doctor and i was told it was pilonidal. I was given medication which eliminated the infection and in September I had closed surgery. The wound healed nicely and left a little scar (I was in the worst pain for the first week out of surgery).

I was back to my normal routine about 3-4 weeks after the surgery. Currently i am unsure whether it has returned or not. The area is very itchy and smells a little funny, there is no pain, the area is also very wet. Other than my little complication currently the surgery was great and i recommend for people to act on it, and go for closed surgery.
